The green light has been given today to complete the necessary regulatory and technical preparatory work which should see a contractor appointed by end December 2008 and a construction start on site in late 2010. When the £135m dualling project is completed, Norwich will for the first time have continuous dual carriageway access to the rest of the country’s strategic motorway and highways network.
So thanks to everyone who helped by signing the Norfolk County Council petition – watch this space for further updates.
